Drift Patrol
ReactionCatch the Action That Doesn't Match the Intent
An autonomous agent is safe right up until it isn't - the moment its action drifts from what it was asked to do. Drift Patrol is that judgment call as a reflex game: agents pop up across your fleet, some doing their job and some drifting off-policy into something dangerous. Govern the drift; leave the compliant.
How to Play
-
Govern: click or tap an agent whose action is off-policy (marked ⚠, e.g. "wire $50k", "delete DB").
-
Leave it: compliant agents (marked ✓, e.g. "summarize", "read record") are doing their job - touching them is a false positive.
-
Insight: grab the gold INSIGHT pod to briefly light up every drifting agent.
-
Combos: consecutive correct governance builds a multiplier.
Survive each 20-second round without losing your five points of integrity. A wrong whack or a drift you let execute costs one. Eight rounds brings the fleet under governance - a win - then Endless+ speeds it up. Integrity at zero ends the run.
Why It Works This Way
Every mechanic maps to a real principle of agentic AI security.
| In the game | In the real world |
|---|---|
| Whack the action that drifts from the intent | Intent alignment maps the original ask against the executed action - drift is the gap. |
| Punished for pausing a compliant agent | Good governance is precise: it stops harm without smothering healthy autonomy. |
| A drift you miss executes and costs you | Off-policy actions are only harmless if they are caught before they run. |
| INSIGHT reveals the drifters | Full tracing and observability make behavioral drift visible in real time. |
